The announcement that 70 State Parks will close within a year left many Californians feeling an unspeakable loss. This blog follows my travels to each one. It serves to honor the staff and volunteers who keep the parks (and thus place) alive in our minds, and bears witness to the vitality parks bring to the people of California and the world.
